There was a time when a histamine intolerance caused me a lot of frustration, on top of the fact that I hardly had anything left to eat. The list of foods recommended by doctors was short and meant to last a lifetime—absolutely unacceptable to me. I started looking for a solution and was in for a big surprise.
Simple, accessible, natural—freshly pressed celery leaf juice.
There are a few rules I followed to help this remedy work effectively.
I drank only freshly pressed celery juice, pure, without mixing it with any other ingredients. I make sure to buy celery from producers who don’t spray it with all sorts of chemicals. I do this as often as I can. There were times when I bought it from the supermarket, but it definitely has a different color and taste. For me, the difference was huge.
I didn’t add ice, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, collagen, or any other substance.
Celery juice must be freshly pressed. For the best results, it’s best to drink the juice immediately. If that’s not possible, you can store it in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container for up to 24 hours. After this period, the celery juice loses its healing power.
The juice should be consumed only on an empty stomach. If you’ve had water with lemon beforehand, wait 30 minutes before drinking the celery juice. Similarly, after drinking the juice, wait at least 30 minutes before consuming anything else.
The most suitable option is a cold-press juicer.
